There was an article in The Trib a few days ago. When Bob Dole was running for President, he asked the oilman T. Boone Pickens to head up his campaign in Texas. In return Pickens wanted to write the energy policy that Dole would put forward. Dole replied "Right there, on the floor, that's a sleeping dog. Politicians don't kick sleeping dogs. Bill Clinton doesn't give a damn about energy and I don't either. We're not either one of us gooona kick a sleeping dog and so energy will not be an issue ... read more

Im fascinated by good magicians. I know a few of the tricks they use, but even so, Im always entertained by how they are able to bend my mind and show me things that are clearly not possible. One of the most powerful tools in a magicians arsenal is Distraction.

A good magician will keep your eyes and your mind busy on the surface while the reality of what makes magic work is actually taking place beneath the surface. I know its happening and I even know ... read more

If my party does not come to a fair decision which is inclusive to Florida and Michigan I will no longer consider myself a member of the Democratic Party. Even thought I was raised a Democrat and raised my children as Democrats I will turn my back on the party of my birth. Senator Obama is the one holding up the decision. Well, it is time for the two candidates to compromise on a decision and do it soon. Senator Clinton is willing to negotiate why wont you Senator Obama? Is it because ... read more

The Press Is In Love With Obama Again

Obama-Obama-Obama wonderful speech, bravo the press is back in love with Obama again. Senator Clinton should just stop her campaign she cant beat the press. My advice to her is to go back to the Senate and run for Majority Leader. That could be a position she could hold for years and be instrumental in making far reaching changes. The Senator would probably have a bigger place in history going down this route than becoming the first woman president. In some ways, that position holds as ... read more

Wall Street Journal Week in Review on Fox News said that Obama is playing the race card. The next show Beltway Boys also on Fox news said Clinton is playing the race card. Hey Fox you cant have it both ways.

Lets examine what racist statements have allegedly been said. President Clinton said that when a black candidate is running in South Carolina, they will win the state. That is a fact and it was not said in a racist way. It was just said as a fact which it is. Jesse Jackson won ... read more

Are both of you crazy? If you both keep up the gender and race issues, you just might as well hold the door open for President McCain as he moves into the White House. I am so disappointed in both of you. I am one of the unheard voices that I expect both of you to be listening to. But you cant be listening if you are so busy apologizing for your campaigns! Cant you manage the people around you? Well, if you cant, how can I trust either of you to manage the White House? I am having ... read more

Gender Bias vs Race Bias Still Alive In America?

Afro-Americans are lining up behind Obama and white females over 50 are lining up behind Hillary and both demographics are threatening to walk out of the Denver convention if their candidate is not the nominee. Now if this isnt an example of gender and race bias, then I dont know what it is.

It seems the Democrats can screw-up a two car parade. And of course, Florida is right in the middle of this train wreck again. They are talking about a do-over primary, a mail in primary or any of a ... read more

Meet the Clintons alone in an ally on a dark night and it is believed the chance of you coming out without getting rapped by one and cut up by the other is not very good. It certainly would not attract Las Vegas style odds, and in 2008 they seem determined and poised to snatch defeat from the jaws of success for the democrats.

There is a reason white men, married men, and men of a certain age prefer Obama three to one. All one has to do is take a look at Hillary. Like one alcoholic or addict ... read more

On the heels of Super Tuesday Two, it may not be immediately clear whether the democratic presidential nominee will be Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, but talk show host and conservative author Ann Coulter has it right. Ralph Nader notwithstanding and irrespective of how one feels about Coulter, in the collective eyes of remote helpdesk 1, the 44th President of the United States, whether one likes it or not - all things being equal, will will be a democrat.

As networks began to call Super ... read more

Restoring the Great America

The phrase "taxation without representation" should be familiar to any student of American history. The colonies that would eventually form the foundations of our great nation felt the heavy burden of British taxes. The mother country remorselessly levied these sanctions to its far flung American citizens. Citizens that carried no weight in Parliament. Citizens whose voices were not heard by the bureaucrats of England who took the colonists money without once considering the situation of the ... read more
